Protips: Paying with PayPal

Posted by Matt Garrison on 7th Oct 2014

Running into a spot of trouble using PayPal? There's a few odd ends that we can help you with.

Q.) What is a "Paypal"?

A.) PayPal is a form of online banking that allows you to keep your money readily accessible for online transactions. You can both pay, and get paid, easily from most major websites to PayPal, including us! You can visit their site for more details (www.paypal.com), but if you don't have one, don't worry! We can still take credit and debit card payments, no problem.

Q.) I tried to pay with PayPal, but whenever I do, it changes my shipping address. How do I fix that?

A.) One of two ways. First, change your information on your PayPal account. Our site is designed to import information from your PayPal account to streamline the order process, which means that your billing and shipping information will often reflect what PayPal thinks it is. Updating the information on your PayPal account to your current information is your easiest fix. Your other option will be to just manually adjust the address afterward. If you discover that your information is wrong after placing the order, contact us and we'll be more than happy to fix it for you.

Q.) I'm trying to pay with PayPal, but it's making me check out as a guest. What's going on?

A.) Clicking "checkout with PayPal" immediately begins the order process. If you select normal checkout, you will be given a prompt to sign in to your account before proceeding. BUT, if you were not already signed in when you selected "checkout with PayPal", the website assumes you're checking out as a guest. To fix this, simply click the "sign in" link at the top of the page before checkout. From there, the site will know who you are, and act accordingly.

Q.) My question isn't answered here, what do I do?

A.) We're always on the lookout for people who need our help. Feel free to check our Frequently Asked Questions page to see if your question is there. If it isn't, you can chat, email, or call us to find out more.
