Customer Spotlight: Creating Positive Change Through Financial Literacy and Mentorship
At BuckWholesale, one of the greatest parts of what we do is getting to support businesses and organizations that are making a real difference in their communities! Today, we are so proud to spotlight a customer whose mission is centered around empowering youth through education, mentorship, and financial literacy.
When asked what inspired him to start his business, this was his response:
“What inspired me to start my business was a deep desire to create positive change in my community. Growing up, I faced many challenges and was not as fortunate as others. Hardship was a normal part of my childhood, and as a result, I didn’t always make the best decisions in my youth. I experienced the consequences of those choices, but eventually, I had a wake-up call. From that point on, I made a commitment to improve myself by making better decisions and giving back to my community in a meaningful way.”
That commitment has now grown into a business focused on teaching young people practical, real-world knowledge that many don’t learn early enough in life.
“My business focuses on teaching young people real-life skills, with an emphasis on financial literacy. I educate students on how the real world works—covering topics such as the difference between assets and liabilities, budgeting, money management, and overall financial responsibility. My goal is to equip youth with the knowledge and tools they need at an early age so they can make informed, responsible decisions as adults for themselves and their families.”
For approximately 13 years since 2013, he has continued this important work and has seen incredible growth and impact within his community.
“I have been doing this work for over a decade—approximately 13 years since 2013. What makes me most proud is knowing that I am providing a valuable service to my community and beyond. The knowledge and guidance I offer are helping to shape and develop young minds, preparing them for success and empowering them to build better futures.”
What started as a small operation with just two students has grown into something much larger and more impactful.
“Over time, my business has grown in a very positive way. I started in a small space with just two students, and today I serve over 50 students and continue to grow. This expansion reflects both the need for this work and the impact it is making.”

“The advice I would give to someone just starting out is: Do what you love and love what you do. Find your purpose in life and stay committed to it.”
