For over two decades, John Vargas, Owner and Head Artist of The Airbrush Station by JSV Entertainment, has been creating that experience for guests at private and corporate events across the country!

John brings artistry, entertainment, and personalization together through custom airbrushed trucker hats, apparel, accessories, and more. His journey began with a lifelong love of art and has grown into an in-demand business that has taken him to events throughout the United States.

  What got you started in your business?
  
  I was blessed to be thrown directly into the event industry when I was in High School. I have always been an artist (mainly paper and pencil or acrylics) since I was little. Now making money out of my art is a dream come true.
  
  2. What do you sell or offer?
  
  I specialize in airbrushing Trucker Hats, T-shirts, Hoodies, Tote bags, Socks, Pennants, Beanies and many other fabric items I can put paint on.
  
  3. How long have you been at it?
  
  I have been an airbrush artist for 21 years.
  
  4. What makes you proud of your business?
  
  "We are not new, but we are not known” - Airbrush have been around for generations. Everyone has a memory of an airbrush item in their youth. When you hear Airbrush, carnivals, festivals, flea markets (Swap meets) come to mind. There aren’t too many airbrush artists in the World that specialize in Private and Corporate events ONLY, I’m lucky to be one of them.
  
  5. Which hats from us do you like best?
  
  My Favorite item from BuckWholesale is the Low Profile Black and White Foam trucker hat.
  
  6. How has your business changed over time?
  
  My business has been changing and the demand for airbrush has been growing. I’ve been blessed to be in demand. Many clients have been reaching out from all over the US. I have recently done events in California, Seattle, Chicago, Louisiana, Colorado and every corner of Texas (My home state).
  
  7. Has BuckWholesale helped along the way?
  
  BuckWholesale has been my preferred source of Trucker Hat blanks for all of my events.
  
  8. What advice would you give someone just starting out?
  
  My advice to any Airbrush artist starting out is to NETWORK. Building bridges is the only way you can travel far in life. Find other airbrush artists in your area, they are not competition, they are in the pursued of happiness as well, let's help each other.  Network with local party planners and invest in your set up. This is the recipe to growing locally, more artists to attack large events and more party planners to hire you. Party planners don’t know we exist, it's our duty to educated our sorrowing (Possible) clients.
