1. What got you started in your business?

I'm very new to this. I started my business making western style decorated trucker hats back in May of this year because I love using my creative side to come up with new hat designs, and each one making someone smile.

2. What do you sell or offer?

I create western style decorated trucker hats that are designed to be both unique and high quality.

3. How long have you been at it?

I started my business in May of this year, so I'm still very new to the industry.

4. What makes you proud of your business?

Getting compliments is really nice and so appreciated, but having customers come back to buy a second or third hat after receiving the first, that's what makes me proud of my business because it shows me that they not only love my style, but my dedication to quality.

5. Which hats from us do you like best?

The hat I used the very first time I made a decorated hat was not Buck's, and it showed. It was the first and last time because the quality was not the best for what I do. I wanted better for my customers.

When I found Buck's hats, I knew the quality was exactly what I wanted and needed to make my hats the best they could be for the people who buy and wear them.

6. How has your business changed over time?

Another meaningful layer to the project is that my older brother, a canvas artist, originally sketched the logo for me years ago. I held onto the design until the timing felt right, and the Water Ice Trucker was that moment. BuckWholesale’s wide range of color variations immediately reminded me of Italian ice from Philadelphia, which became the core inspiration behind the hats.

What advice would you give someone just starting out?

Start first and refine along the way. Every idea arrives with purpose. I view ideas as downloads. It’s our job to execute on them.
