Security Checks: Or, What We Do To Keep You Safe

If you've been watching the news lately, there's a good chance that you've seen some stories about stolen credit cards. We here at Buckwholesale.com take internet security seriously, and we do everything we can to keep your information safe, and prevent credit card fraud. Here are a few commonly asked questions about what we do and why we do it:

Q.) Do you keep credit card information? (or) do I have to set up an account?

A.) No, we do NOT keep credit card data on file. While the site is set up to create accounts for most people placing orders, we only keep enough information to help you check out faster in the future. We have taken every step possible to ensure that your information cannot be used without your permission, and that the info held cannot be used for financial gain by others. 

You do have the option to use the payment methods stored in your Amazon.com and Paypal.com account by using Checkout by Paypal and Amazon Simply Pay.

Q.) I have a large first time order that I would like drop shipped, is that doable?

A.) Unfortunately, no. We do offer drop shipping. However, for first time customers, we must ship your first order to the billing address of the card you use to place the order. That way, we can be sure the person living there is the one getting the hats, and therefore should be the one placing the order. If you place such an order with a different billing and shipping address, we will contact you to ask if you would like to have the order shipped to the billing address, or cancelled. These will be the only available options at that time.

Q.) Someone tried to contact me saying my billing address was wrong. What does that mean?

A.) Whenever you use your credit card, you will be asked some sort of identifying information to verify the cardholder is... well, the cardholder. Sometimes, even if the information is inaccurate, banks and other card processors will allow the transfer to go through. However, we maintain a stricter security code for our orders. For ANY order where the billing information provided does not match the billing address for the card, the order WILL be cancelled and refunded back to you. We will only be able to process a new order with the correct billing information provided.

Q.) My order was cancelled, but no one contacted me to tell me why. What is going on?!

A.) Actually that should never happen if we have your correct contact information. In the event of any cancellation, the ordering party will be contacted about the order. Our staff members will attempt to call or email anyone whose orders encounter processing errors. In some cases, these issues will be resolvable; in others, we will have to take immediate action. We will ALWAYS attempt contact regardless of the situation. Please make sure when entering your personal information that your billing address, email address, and phone number are all correct in the system. If we don't have the right contact information, we will not be able to get in touch with you, no matter how hard we try.
